This week, the 2009 Tech Media Invest Top 100 list was revealed by Europe-Unlimited, Europe's leading event organisers for investors and technology companies, in association with The Guardian, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Kemp Little. The list brings together – for the first time in the UK – companies that have been selected for the innovation and creativity they have demonstrated over the past year. Selection criteria included: financial performance, innovation and management. Commenting on the news, James Davis, CEO and founder of upad, said: “upad has had an exciting first year, and continues to grow from strength-to-strength. We are delighted to have been recognised as a key UK company for the future in the Tech Media Invest Top 100 list. And, we look forward to continuing to support landlords and tenants in our bid to change the face of the UK property rentals sector.” upad launched in October 2008, enabling landlords to advertise each property for a one-off cost of £59. The service then became available to the 1.5 million landlords across the UK in May 2009.
